FEBRUARY 9 | MARCH 8 | APRIL 5
3:15pm – 5:15pm
Join us for a series of 3 Sunday workshops around mindfulness, meditation, stress reduction, etc.
In this introduction we will explore what mindfulness is, why it can help us in our daily life, especially dealing with stress in all its different appearances.
We will also explore what mindfulness is not and what influences wrong understandings can have. We will talk about the status quo and the importance of studies and research.
Besides these more theoretical questions the main focus will be direct experience of mindfulness through body / movement and focussed attention practice.
Through this experiential approach we will explore the different forms of formal and informal practice. We will learn how mindfulness interrupts our habitual patterns of automaticity and reactivity, leading to greater and clearer seeing and choice.
Over these three sessions we will improve our body-mind awareness, get insights how our perceptions and our conditioning works and how we can apply mindfulness for a better interpersonal communication.
And last, but not least learning how mindfulness can intensify our own yoga practice.
- Duration 2 hrs.
- Sundays from 3:15 to 5:15 pm.
- We recommend to attend the 5:30 pm yin yoga class for extend the mindfulness practice
